Credit Cards and Debit Cards

When traveling, especially if going overseas, contact your bank and credit card companies to place a travel notification on your accounts (some cards have this option online and some no longer require it). This will ensure that you can still use your cards and access cash while traveling. Also, store credit cards in inside pockets of your travel bags or in money belts and always keep a copy of the front and back of the card stashed away somewhere in a separate bag or your cell phone. If you do lose your card while away, you’ll have all information handy to call it in.
